Michelle B. Stalnaker, M.A., SHRM-SCP- SPHR
Vice President of Human Resources
Michelle is the Vice President of Human Resources for BVPI and has been with the company since its inception. With the support of the executive leadership team, she has built the framework of the HR department and has implemented multiple HR policies, practices and procedures.

Prior to joining BVPI, Michelle worked for the West Virginia High Technology Consortium Foundation (WVHTC) where she was a Commercialization Analyst. In this capacity, she helped companies and entrepreneurs with investment funding and entrepreneurial training.

Michelle holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Human Resource Management from Marymount University (MU) and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from Fairmont State University with a triple major in General Business, Marketing and Management. Michelle is certified by the Human Resource Certificate Institute (HRCI) as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and by the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) as a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). She also serves on the NOVA SHRM and HRLA of Greater Washington Board of Directors and remains active with her alma mater, Marymount University.
